About

Andrea is an experienced software engineer and architect with special focus on integrations, APIs, and databases. She takes extra motivation from working directly with users to find workflows and automations to make their lives easier.

Andrea currently works at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory as a software engineer for the Mars 2020 Perseverance Rover, and has worked in Mars 2020 Surface Operations as a Plan Integration Lead On Tactical (PILOT). Prior to joining the Mars program, Andrea worked for the Deep Space Network and the Cassini Mission to Saturn.

Previously, Andrea worked at Amazon, was a research assistant for the Collaborative Software Development Lab, interned at SAP BusinessObjects, and worked part-time and full-time for the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. She has Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Computer Science.
